The ‘Time to be me’ project is run by Howgill Family Centre. Emotional Wellbeing Practitioners are based in our school and work with children either on a one-to-one basis or within small groups. Each child is reassessed every 4 weeks and can continue attending sessions as long as necessary.
Their aim is to provide a safe and secure environment in which children feel able to share and explore emotions, thoughts and feelings through the therapeutic activities they offer.
The low levels of wellbeing of children can have a great impact on their childhood and life chances.
