Hours: 20 hours per week – 9.15am to 1.15pm daily

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious kitchen assistant to join our committed, hardworking and enthusiastic team. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have good communication skills and relate well to adults and children 
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Stay calm under pressure
• Be committed and hard working

·         Have knowledge of or have a willingness to gain knowledge of basic food preparation procedures

·         Have knowledge of or have a willingness to gain knowledge of cleaning procedures

·         Have knowledge of or have a willingness to learn Health and Safety procedures and precautions

·         Have awareness of health and hygiene procedures

• Be willing to use relevant equipment

·         Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of team

 St Gregory’s and St Patrick's Catholic Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all the children in its care and expects all staff to share this commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS with barred list and reference check.
